Global Immunization Efforts – A Fridge that can Save Millions
March 27 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We are all waiting for a, if not “the”, CoVid-19 cure. Hopefully a long-standing one in the form of a vaccine, but what sounds like the obvious solution in developed countries is far from the truth in third world countries where getting basic medical care is even a challenge.
Around 1.2 billion people worldwide lack access to electricity, another 1 billion receive as little as 2 hours a day. Kerosene, battery, and fossil fuel-powered technologies are outdated, costly and energy inefficient. Consistency and reliability of the cold chain, refrigeration, are essential to safely store vaccines and medicines anywhere in the world!
We look forward to talking to Julia about how COOLAR will revolutionize the medical supply chain industry in these countries and what part they can do to help fight another pandemic.
